Quarter Wars a Complete Success!

Klynn Hughes completed her senior project by coordinating the "Quarter Wars" at Meadville Area Senior High School. Klynn's efforts raised $548 to go towards Juniper Village's Resident Garden Project. When Klynn approached Juniper this semester in regards to her project, Jennifer Musone happily accepted. The residents of Juniper Village had no idea the project would create such awareness and insight such participation from the students at our local school. The residents were just happy to participate in the project as an inter-generational experience.

Klynn presented the grand check to the Residents at Juniper Village. The monies donated will enable the Residents to complete the raised garden bed project this spring! Thank you Klynn and all who participated in this wonderful senior project. What a success it was! We look forward to having Klynn back this spring for a ribbon cutting ceremony and to celebrate her success. To thank the students, Jennifer Musone provided the students with a large celebratory pizza party on behalf of Juniper Village this afternoon. Thanks again!Posted by Picasa
