Let's Go For a Boat Ride!

On Friday, July 26th 10 residents, Nurse, Julia Barone and Connections Director, Wendy Vaughn took to the high seas of Pymatuning
Lake for a beautiful afternoon of boating. The 21ft. pontoon worked its way around the lake with Vaughn at the helm for nearly 3 hours.
We enjoyed lunch on the water as we took a scenic tour out of the Espyville Boat Livery north and then changed course southward. The
pontoon eagerly "steamed" under the causeway toward the beaches and cabins on the Ohio side. No need for dead reckoning on this day, as
the weather was perfect for the entire  xcursion—sun, breezes and just enough intermittent cloud cover. The day was filled with smiles and reminiscences of earlier times spent enjoying the amenities of the lake with families and friends.

Flower Crafting!

Even on Saturday . . .
Residents Dorothy and Ethyl created beautiful Summertime flower arrangements! Dorothy generally shares her creations with her cousin. Ethyl has quite a personal collection she keeps in her apartment. Both ladies are avid crafters, which enriches hearts, minds, spirits and physical bodies. Each time Ethyl attends a crafting session, the first thing she states is, "I'm not very crafty, but I'm here." Soon after she receives a big laugh from those around her. Ethyl always proves her statement to be false as she leaves with something beautiful.
