Halloween Celebration

Halloween at Juniper Village in Meadville was a celebration that spanned over a festive week. The holiday began with "Trick or Treat on Chestnut Street". Our residents lined the front patio as well as the front lawn handing out yummy treats. Hundreds of neighborhood children arrived and greeted us with creative costumes and sweet smiles. The residents were overjoyed.
We celebrated Halloween day with a decorative party filled with goodies, apple cider and prizes. Residents were entertained with games that enhanced their knowledge of superstitions, folk lore and the history of Halloween. It was a ghostly time.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving from our Juniper Family to yours!  These cute little turkeys showed up today from one of our Resident Family members.  They brought smiles to our faces and joy as we Cherish the Journey this Autumn season.  Please think of your local food pantry this month and consider donating to the Juniper Village food and coat drive.  Mike Franko, Family member, takes time out to support our efforts to feed the local community.  To date, we have collected nearly 100 pounds and 6 coats.  A great start, but we have 900 pounds to go!  Give thanks this season by giving back.
