A nice array of cheese and crackers, chocolate covered strawberries and spirits were served. Mandy Maruska takes pause with two friends, Twila O'Dell and Gay Lynch. The Art show always brings in new people and has put a spark back into some of our Resident artists. Juniper Village encourages creativity and nurturing the spirit of life. A great thank you to Kelli Arnott, Connections Director, for recruiting some amazing art this year! Each year the program grows and this year hidden talents were discovered all about Meadville, including right here in our own home. Please stop in from 8am-8pm to view the Art work through February 28th.
A special thank you to Joel Oertly, Active Aging Foundation Director, for working with Juniper Village on this project!

Painting and Paper Making

Residents were in the Art spirit this week as they focused on talents and creativity in various ways. A still life painting was the project, and as you can see, Nansi Janes hasn't lost a stroke of her talent over the years. Nansi will have works on display at our Annual Art Show kicking off on February 15th at 2:30pm through the 28th. The paper making project consisted of flowers and a little help from the maintenance department to create those helpful screens! It was unanimous, the project will be done again in the spring when the flowers are in bloom! Connections Director, Kelli Arnott stated "I
could have kept making paper all day with the Residents, we were having fun!" To submit artwork in the Art show, contact Kelli Arnott at 814.333.4400
