The Associates and Residents of Juniper Village at
Meadville embarked on a new journey this past Valentine's Day. Balloon Bouquets were advertised in the greater
Meadville community and were
pre-arranged by Juniper Associates. Many resident families were able to take advantage of the opportunity and have the bouquet's delivered right to their loved ones room. The event raised $175.00 and all proceeds were donated to the Active Aging Foundation. Joel
Oertly arrived to pick up the donation on behalf of the Foundation and was cheerfully greeted by Sally James, current resident at Juniper Village at
Meadville and former employee of Active Aging.
Anita Woods, the Ombudsman for Crawford County, arrived to pick up the bundles of Balloon Bouquets the employees of Active Aging ordered. Overall the event was successful and Juniper Village looks forward to next years Balloon Bouquet adventure. Juniper Village is also a sponsor and supporter of the Active Aging Foundation Annual Charity Golf Scramble. The 15
th annual scramble will be held July 20
th at the
Venango Vally Inn & Golf Course. Four member teams are accepted with a shotgun start at 12:30pm: Call 336-1792 to reserve your team.
