Recently, residents and community members attended the Beach Glass workshop by artist and author Tami Hritzay. The community welcomed the beautiful colors of the worn smooth stones and learned how to make a piece of jewelry. Each attendant received a reusable Juniper bag, in the spirit of recycling! Re purposing can be a beautiful thing, especially when it involves memories of walking along a beach, sand between the toes and picking out your very own treasure for a soon to be necklace. With out the luxury of a sandy ocean beach nearby, Tami graciously provided the "jewels".
