Whether they go by Grandma and Grandpa, Nana and Pap or Meme
and Papa, Calvary Baptist Christian Academy called all grandparent’s to a
celebration put on just for them. Preschool through sixth grade went all out
for their quests. They had practiced
very hard for a special program that included lots of singing, sharing of
quotes and musical talent. A cup and clapping hands were the musical
instruments used by the sixth graders to produce an amusing song that delighted
everyone. There were also yummy homemade cookies and it was an extra special
time for our resident, Greta Hawkins, who had the opportunity to see two of her
granddaughters perform.
There were many
wonderful heartwarming quotes that were shared but it was unanimous the one
that summed it up the best was “Grandparents are there to help you get into
mischief that you haven’t thought of yourself!”
