The historic
Riverside Inn was one of many resorts built in the late 1880’s at the height of
the mineral springs craze in the United States. It was operated as a resort for
vacationers heading to the nearby springs that gave Cambridge Springs its name.
Today it is
the only resort still standing in the area and is operated as a hotel and
dinner theater. With the exceptional cuisine, marvelous plays and beautiful Christmas
décor of days gone by, it is a favorite stop to take a step back in time for
many people. For residents at Juniper Village in Meadville, it is a preferred
choice for an old fashioned Christmas lunch.
